Learning Specialist

The Montessori School of Northampton is seeking a part-time Learning Specialist to serve children ages 18 months to 14 years. The school is looking for an experienced Montessori teacher or developmental specialist who has a strong understanding of child development and diverse learning styles.

The role of the Learning Specialist includes direct work with students, parents, and teaching staff. Specifically, we are looking for someone who:

– understands diverse learning needs
– age-appropriate developmental milestone
– has experience reading and translating evaluation results
– is able to support the teaching teams to modify the curriculum

Additional tasks may include educating staff, coordinating outside support services, and facilitating regular team meetings. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
